Not seen this quality under $500-00. Wow.

As my title says, you will pay north of $500 to get this quality in leather pants.

They have fabric in the non slide areas to allow fleixbility. There are also perforated leather pieces under your thighs/in the groin area for air flow. But your rear end is good leather if you need to slide on the bitumen.

All the protection is in the right places.

The knee area has some built up leather and padding sewn on and the removable slider pucks on the top/side of that.

I am a fat old man at 6 foot 1 inch tall at 108 kg. These will do me to misbehave on my Triumph Speed Twin 1200. :)

i did not receive what was pictured, i am disappointed on two points of style..
1: I received the same model of pants, exact same physical design as pictured, with armours as advertised, but the branding on the leg is not the very nice subdued BLACK writing in stitched relief that is advertised.
i am now a walking billboard for Tuffgear with a very gaudy, very visible, and quite cheaply-tacked-on branding in bright white lettering. i only hope the stitch-holes do not create a weak-point when i remove the cheap and nasty looking lettering.
2: the leather is not the nice matt-finish that is pictured which would have suited my jacket perfectly, instead, it is a high-gloss leather and i look like a clown with mis-matching finishes of my suit.

these two points of style were the main reason i chose this pair of pants over numerous other designs at similar price-points..
i even skipped the Tuffgear ebay store option because it pictured this high-gloss, white-lettered version.. well, now i've learned not to trust the tuffgear brand for style.
having said that, the quality seems reasonable, so while i look like a clown, at least i'll be a safe clown.
honest advertising is very important though, so i'd rate 5/10 with a warning to others - dont expect to receive what you think yr ordering.
i wasn't even notified that they couldn't supply what was pictured, they just sent it without a word.

Brought a pair of 38 leathers, thought that I would give them a test run.
Location open highway with temp less than 6deg and heavy wind on HD Super Glide.
Spent two hours in the saddle and was surprised at the comfort and barrier against the cold.
I.e my hands froze but my lower half remained in a medium steady temp.
Haven't used them on the track yet however I am satisfied that I paid money well spent.
    Cheers

I recently bought the ladies version of these pants after a recommendation from friends who ride and do a lot of track and had purchased a Tuff Gear suit. Very impressed with the quality and price, yet the winning point was the fit. Well designed and tailored for a ladies fit, super comfortable after 1st day out and 6 hours in the saddle.
