The Sand 5 H2O are the go-to gloves for the rider that doesn’t let grey skies and the possibility of rain get in the way of their riding plans.

A strong foundation
These gloves have been engineered specifically for riding on or off road during unstable weather conditions in spring, summer, or fall. By incorporating a waterproof and breathable hydratex|Z-liner construction with comfort-enhancing McFit® technology, these features help hands to stay dry and have a good grip when it’s slippery out there. We also introduce the tri-fleece push-pull liner to the Sand 5 H2O gloves (a feature normally found on our GTX aka GORE-TEX gloves) giving them the extra comfort factor and a premium feel.

The safety element
Armouring hands comes in many forms with the Sand 5 H2O gloves. The most prominent ones being the hard knuckle along with the TPU thumb protector and palm slider. TPR finger knuckles, reinforcements at the palm, a combination of leather and textile, an even larger visor wiper than before made of suede, and thanks to the rugged pull tab on the cuff, slipping on these gloves is a breeze and you can secure them in place with the hook-and-loop closure followed by the hook-and-loop wrist strap.

Knuckle protection

TPR hard shell knuckle
These knuckle protectors are made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR). TPR combines the processability of plastics with the durability of rubbers, while creating a more lightweight and formable material. TPR offers excellent resistance to flex fatigue and tearing, making it a perfect protective material for hard shell knuckle protectors.

Protective features

TPU hard shell palm slider
Palm slider made of a durable and high abrasion resistant TPU material at the palm side of the glove. The palm slider makes sure that the glove slides in case the palm of the hand comes in contact with the asphalt. The abrasion resistance of gloves equipped with these sliders is greatly increased, thus reducing the risk of injury significantly.

Durability and great abrasion resistance are the defining characteristics of PWR|Shell, thanks to its special ripstop weaving. Thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the fabric in a crosshatch pattern known as ripstop.

Leather Connect Finger Tip
