• An all-new single-canister design reduces weight, enables faster airbag inflation, and simplifies servicing for quick turnaround.
• Quick-Release Cover Design for Rapid Gas Inflator Replacement
• The quick-release cover, secured with a Velcro hook-and-loop
  attachment, allows for easy access to the gas inflator—riders can simply insert a finger into the recess and lift the cover to detach it to access the gas inflator. In countires where gas inflator handling and self-replacement by individuals is permitted by local regulations, riders can quickly replace the gas inflator for continued protection on the ride.
• User-Friendly Modular Design
• The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA’s features a fully modular construction, allowing riders to quickly disassemble the System for maintenance and cleaning. Simply unzip the rear stretch mesh panel, release the quick-access cover, detach both the back protector and airbag from the vest, and remove the
  LED Display and Activation Zip. This user-friendly design enables quick airbag removal for vest cleaning, providing effortless reassembly of the System. Servicing key components, including gas inflator replacement, is also quick and hassle-free—ensuring seamless functionality with minimal effort.

• Provides up to 30 hours of riding time, ensuring reliability for long rides.
• Extended Sizing for Optimal Fit
• Available in eight sizes from XS to 4XL, offering a tailored fit designed to accommodate a wide range of body shapes.
• Riding Modes and LED Display
• The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA features three Riding Modes: STREET, OFF-ROAD, and RACE. After the System has been correctly switched on, the User can easily switch between the three different Riding Modes by pressing the button integrated in the LED Display for two seconds. A solid green LED will appear on the Riding Mode LED indicating which Riding Mode is currently running. Riders can easily cycle through the Riding Modes
  until the desired Riding Mode is selected. The System will trigger a short (1 second) vibration when the Riding Mode is changed.
• When zipped up, the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma automatically activates via a separate internal magnetic sensor, and the LED Display on the lower chest will not only visually indicate the System’s operational status, but will trigger a short (1 second) haptic vibration alert to notify the rider and confirm when the System is armed. The System generates a long vibration (3 seconds) when turned off or if the System shows a red Status LED.

  construction at the collar, underarms, and front of the body, for an
  enhanced adaptive performance fit and superior breathability.
• Optimized Mobility: Ergonomic sleeves with a deeper cut around the armpits for enhanced mobility and comfort.
• Extended Coverage: Cut longer at the rear for enhanced coverage and protection, with a contoured, low-cut neck for reduced material contact with skin for added comfort.
• Ventilation Compatibility:
  Specifically engineered to be used with Alpinestars jacket ventilation systems for optimized airflow and breathability.
• Optimized Airbag Design: Anatomically designed to increase the envelope of protection. The airbag features strategically positioned cutaways that contour to the rider’s body for superior impact protection of the back, check, ribs, and shoulders, while also minimizing material volume.
• Minimal Use of Plastic Components: for a low weight to performance ratio, while maintaining maximum airflow and freedom of movement.

Protection

• Active Protection: The airbag provides comprehensive full upper-body coverage, safeguarding the chest, ribs, back, and shoulders.
• Integrated Back Protector: Constructed with Nucleon PLASMA viscoelastic compound and co-injected with advanced elastomer compounds for an ultra-slim profile, maximum weight savings, and superior flexibility.
• Stealth Back Protector Design: The streamlined back protector contours to the electronics case for a seamless and ‘invisible’ fit under the jacket profile.
• CE-Certified Protection:
• The Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA System and all the included protective parts are Category II certified PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) under European Regulation (UE) 2016/425 and in compliance under corresponding UK legislation.
• The passive back-protector is CE certified according to the EN1621-2:2014 Level 1 (Full Back).
• The inflatable protector is CE certified according to EN 1621-4:2013 Level 1 (Full Back).
• The System is CE certified as a protective garment for motorcycle riders according to the EN 17092-6:2020 as a Class C undergarment.
• Airbag Deployments: The airbag bladder is certified for up to six deployments before requiring replacement.
